Professional Supervision for Allied Health Professionals

In supervision Russell will work collaboratively with you as an allied health professional (e.g. as a Social Worker, Psychologist, Counsellor) to explore clinical and organisational issues, dilemmas and challenges so as best to continually improve your practice in the human services field. With over thirty years experience since graduating as a Social Worker and using his extensive knowledge and experience as a counsellor, team leader and manager of service delivery, Russell can provide high quality supervision and mentoring to you individually or to your team.

Leadership Coaching for Team Leaders and Managers

Many of Russell’s professional strengths are his leadership qualities. Having been a member of a national executive group, a state manager of service delivery as well as having lead clinical teams, Russell is well aware of the pitfalls and challenges you might face in your leadership role. His model of leadership is to lead from the front, set an example of how leaders should behave, walk the talk and to never lose touch with the grass roots; it is a practical, bottom up approach.

Mentoring

When newly graduated social workers enter the workforce or when professionals step up into leadership and management roles they often require an experienced professional to be a role model and to be available as a point of reference to help understand and enact a new role with expanded boundaries and a higher level of personal and organisational authority. You are no exception to this process. Having made many such transitions in his own life, Russell is able to provide such a mentoring role with authenticity and integrity to suit you and your situation.
